Photo Manager
Really Good Stuff is looking for a Photo Manager, Catalog and Web. Reporting to the Art Production Director, and in coordination with
the Vice President of Product Development, and Senior Merchandising Director, this person will be responsible for all catalog and
web photography, including “ownership” of equipment, organizing and orchestrating photo shoots, retouching images from in-house and external
sources, at maximum cost efficiency.
Essential functions and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Utilize Photographic skills to photograph products onsite using digital camera and lighting booth.
- Photograph as much in-house as is reasonable in a given season, otherwise booking outside studio and overseeing that shoot.
- Manage entire image library for Really Good Stuff. Serves as Company main point of contact for all images. Ability to capture, create and edit digital graphics within firm deadlines
- Develop, maintain, manage and continuously communicate Really Good Stuff image standards.
- Oversee all photography equipment including maintenance and storage. Keep Really Good Stuff on par with latest technological advances in images and photography.
- Schedule, coordinate and manage external photo shoots for product shots and catalog covers for both Catalog and Web in conjunction with Catalog Merchandising and New Product Development.
- Oversee model selection and scheduling when needed. Prepare props when needed.
- Act as internal liaison between Product Design and Production and Product Development for in-use samples, feedback and coordination relative to images
- Act as a liaison between internal departments for the most agreed upon image use: Product Design & Production, Product Development, Catalog Merchandising, Catalog Design, and Web.
- Produce contact sheets for review, and make recommendations on best image to be utilized by various channels.
- Silo, size, and make all photo shop adjustments to images necessary for both catalog and web.
- Develops and maintains production processes that interact with all relevant parties.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop CS including image manipulation, creating clipping paths, color correction in CMYK, RGB, and Grayscale color. In –depth knowledge of image file formats, resolutions, and print quality.
- Skilled in photography – both in the personal execution of shots and supervision of external agencies
- Skilled in photo composition and special effects
- Strong organizational, time management and communication skills.

E-commerce Merchandising Manager
Really Good Stuff has an opening for an E-commerce Merchandising Manager. Under the general supervision of the Vice President, E-Commerce, develop effective e-commerce merchandising strategies that will drive incremental sales, maximize revenue growth, improve the company’s competitive position and enhance the company’s brand in a profitable manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enable e-commerce sales efforts by effectively managing the front-end website experience, landing pages, content, product placement and overall merchandising mix.
- Develop and manage online production schedules in partnership with catalog merchandising and email colleagues to ensure site is up-to-date for maximum results.
- Work with analytics and site operations to define merchandising segments and merchandise website appropriately to increase sales performance of each segment.
- Implement marketing programs on the website as directed and/or required.
- Identify and implement online merchandising strategies that drive improvements in sales conversion, translating to increases in customer acquisition, retention and up/cross-sales.
- Optimize performance of website and marketing initiatives by implementing a robust testing capability (i.e.: A/B and multivariate testing.)
- Track and evaluate site user behavior; make recommendations to improve user experience/usability and sales conversion.
- Develop appropriate KPI reporting to measure sales improvements.
- Effectively manage e-commerce vendor to maximize website sales performance.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in e-commerce, specifically in online merchandising/online marketing/product management.
- Thorough understanding of the online customer experience and best practices for selling online.
- Understanding of e-commerce platforms and Internet technology.
- Proven knowledge of e-commerce marketing methodologies.
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.

Web Designer
Really Good Stuff has an opening for a Web Designer. This person will be responsible for graphic design of the Company website, online promotions and email marketing campaigns. This individual will serve as the creative “brand steward” for the company’s online presence and ensure a clean, consistent “look & feel” that adheres to our design principles.
You should have a gifted eye for design and details, along with strong work practices and production discipline. You must have a proven record of delivering innovative solutions on time for demanding and complex visual problems. You should have excellent visual problem-solving skills, be able to multi-task and work with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate is a strong, dynamic personality who sees a set of design constraints as a challenge for creativity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop graphical layout, design and UI elements for our e-commerce website and promotional advertising vehicles (i.e.: banners, emails, etc.).
- Design and produce presentation enhancements to primary public view pages: Home page, Shop pages, and promotional banners on the fly.
- Translate new project concepts into a coherent and engaging design that meets the user and business needs
- Ensure that the work is delivered on time and with a consistent, user-driven design.
- Manage color palette and color usage throughout site consistent with the brand and quality standards.
- Create Flash presentations and other interactive tools
Qualifications:
- Excellent online UX /UE experience with understanding of best practices.
- Fully fluent in Adobe Suite: Photoshop/Illustrator/Flash
- Exposure to programming standards such as hand-coded HTML/XHTML, CSS, Flash (including action scripting) and Javascript.
- Candidates should have experience with and knowledge of typography, page layout, information design, and interactive design.
- Language Skills-- must be a clear communicator and be able to present ideas to team members and upper management with confidence.
- Must be able to accept and process constructive criticism and take creative instruction.
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or a related field, or equivalent work experience in web/graphic design.
- At least 5 years of full time Website design experience; preferably in an e-commerce environment
