Testimonials: Wow! What fast service! I just received my back-to-school sticker order. When I opened the box I noticed the packing material was giant size clean manila paper. The teacher/scavenger mode took over and after I unscrunched the paper it looked like it would make a perfect treasure map for a social studies project. Or I could paint it shades of blue for an underwater background for a science project. Such wonderful texture in unscrunched paper! Then I thought of making an expanse of blue ocean waves for a mural for Columbus Day or Thanksgiving. Or I could just color it gray and cut it out roundish to make a great Plymouth Rock. Last year I used unscrunched long white packing paper to create an ice and snow mural in a student-created penguin display that read: OUR SCHOOL IS SO COOL!I'm sure other teacher/scavengers will find more uses. Happy Creative Recycling! Sent By: Pat M. from: Longwood, Florida |

Reading Comprehension Flip Chart
While focusing on sounding out words, early readers and English Language Learners (ELLs) often struggle to
remember what they've read and to understand the big picture. They might miss the message of a story or the
significance of a scene or character. Reading comprehension is a skill that challenges many students throughout their
education. The Reading Comprehension Flip Chart is designed to help these students - and visual learners in
general get the big picture. The Flip Chart is dry erase and designed to sit upright on a table. Included are 16
different graphic organizers (main ideas and detail, character and plot analysis, comparing and contrasting, story
sequencing, and more) and a comprehensive Really Good Stuff Activity Guide that includes student copies of the
organizers. 11 1/4" x 11 1/4", 16 pages.
